What is the use of cross arm?


In order to support overhead electrical conductors (wires) above the ground and other objects, cross arms are employed in electrical power distribution and transmission systems.

The main purpose of cross arms is to sustain power lines by giving them a level, horizontal surface to rest on so they don't droop or collide with surrounding buildings.
